Diamond Necklace

A typical diamond necklace comes in either size 16, 18, or 20 inches. Most petite, younger women prefer the 16” necklace while other women prefer a necklace in the 18-20” range. Many times it depends on personal preference as well as your specific build. 18” tends to be the standard necklace measurement for most women. Many jewelers are also capable of providing a necklace with an adjustable length if you aren’t sure which size you want.

Once you have the size sorted out, you will have to narrow down the style. The diamond necklace comes in a variety of styles, and again which style is best for you will depend on your personal tastes (as well as your budget).

Some necklaces have a single loop, some a double loop, others feature bezels or custom cuts in a specific shape. If you aren’t sure where to start here, it’s never a bad idea to browse online just to see some of the style options available. A diamond necklace is expensive, and obviously you won’t want to invest in something that you or the recipient won’t like a few months down the road. Make sure to take the time to find a design that is timeless, and distinctively meets your purposes.
